I discovered a love for painting on canvas nine years ago after attending an evening art class with a friend. I thought it would be good to push myself to try something new and get away from my daily grind in front of a computer. I loved it and realized I wasn’t half bad! Fast forward to Covid lock downs in 2020. Another decision to push myself to embrace learning something new while stuck at home. I took a series of classes offered remotely with live zooms that fed my desire for connection and community. In 2021, a new passion was born taking my love for painting to a new canvas - furniture! Plus, I gained the added satisfaction of restoring a once discarded vintage or antique piece and breathing new life into it. Each piece includes proper repairs, if needed, and a custom finish honoring it’s original style for you to cherish and enjoy for generations to come! You will see I love to retain any beautiful wood when I can. I gained an appreciation for beautiful wood as a little girl helping my father with various projects from building a wood frame for the hull of a speed boat he designed and built in our garage to refinishing an antique baby grand piano!
