She is truly one of a kind! Not only is her design unique, but you won’t find this finish on an Art Nouveau piece anywhere else. This finish is a specialty of Revive that is a combination of gesso’s, milk paints, glazes, gold leaf and waxes. The piece itself is two adorable small drawers on each side, two small cabinets , main drawers and even a SECRET door on the bottom. This well built, quality piece has been painted to recreate an 19th century, European old world furniture. Great care and artistic effort went into making her perfectly imperfect.

Heidi has been designer at heart from as early as she could remember. In fact, her very first memory is about a trip with her family to the local county fair to look at table place settings presented by 4H. Her fascination with design continued throughout her childhood. Heidi’s idea of fun was to tour model homes with her mom on the weekends. Although she didn’t choose a career in art or design for the first half of her life, thankfully she rediscovered her passion for art after being diagnosed with a devastating illness in 2013. “Art saved me and helped me find my purpose again”, Heidi says. To that end, Heidi began painting furniture and flipping apartments for a friend in Boston. Infused with a newfound sense of purpose, Heidi turned her passion into a business, and “Revive-Heart and Home” was born in 2013. As it relates to furniture, Heidi is self-taught and mentored by Amy Howard and is a certified Old World Finishing expert. Her speciality and passions lie in Gustavian and othe European finishes especially if it involves milk paint and gesso! You will find that Heidi loves to paint in light blues, turquoises (her favorite) and greens, although she does and can do pieces in any color palette you desire. Finally, Heidi go to great lengths to finish each piece with precise attention to detail both in her finish work and in the final presentation to the client. She wants your experience with her to be wonderfully memorable. In addition to furniture, Heidi is also a mixed media, canvas artist who specializes in abracts using Venetian plaster, milk paints and gesso. Her work can be found @heidimarshfineart. Heidi also has degrees in business and a 20-year corporate career in Philanthropy. Given this, Heidi donates 10% of her profits to non profits. Finally, when not creating, Heidi loves to travel (although she hates flying!!!), hike and listen to music. She lives in the Seattle area of WA with her husband, John; son, Caleb; and two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Boomer and Snickers.
