Harlequin pattern Louis XV style from the early 19th century inspired commode. Decided to try something different with this Bombay and create an Old World look. I wanted lots of texture and dimension, and this piece was perfect for the job. Joint compound was used to create the look I was after. Following up with a light sand. Annie Sloan chalk paint in Old Violet and Old White is the colors I chose. Sealed with Annie Sloan clear wax.
