The McKinley is an elegant traditional Hutch in a beautiful shade of gray. The back of the hutch has custom wallpaper created with jute, gesso, pale blue, and a gold mica glaze for a subtle gold finish. The edges and details of the hutch are accented with a subtle gold I used Milesi paint for the base of this piece in the color High-speed Access. I created pale blue jute and gesso wallpaper using Amy Howard one one-step paint, then used Amy Howard’s glaze over with gold mica to create a subtle gold effect on the wallpaper. The McKinley had only one owner, it’s a piece from the late 50s or early 60s so she has a history. The doors on the base will stick depending on the temperature BUT THE DOORS ARE FULLY FUNCTIONAL. As the wallpaper is all handcrafted small inconsistencies may be present and are to be expected. Overall The McKinley is an amazing piece with shelving and storage that would be a treasure for any home.
