This Iouis XVI style wingback chair late 18th Century(1774-1792) original from French.The neoclassical Louis XVI Style lasted all the way through the French Revolution by being adapted and adjusted.Furniture became lighter and more mobile. Structure in very good condition.The wood frame is highlighted and aged with gold leaf accents.New upholstery is Grey Velvet Damask Fabric (stuffing and support material was replaced).Armchair an excellent choice for any home whether placed in living room or bedroom.
