Hi, my name is Jennifer. I am the founder and owner of Refreshed Furniture Design. I am a single mom with 2 college age kids who left home years ago for college. I found my self needing a hobby to fill my time. That is when I fell in love with refinishing furniture I found for free or for a very low price. I love it so much that I turned it into a business. I have been doing this for 5 years and love the transformations that come with each project. I have learned from very experienced furniture finishers over the years and continue to learn new things. Some of my favorite finishes are milk paints and stains. I love to make old beat up furniture look stylish and give it new purpose. Modern furniture purchased from a box store is not made like it use to be, so if you have a vintage or antique piece, its well worth the cost to have it restored or refinished to match your other home decor.
