This gorgeous refinished vintage 4-drawer piece with slide-out shelf is ready for your home. Solid wood (likely poplar) construction overlaid with cherry veneer; original construction estimated from 1950s. The four drawers open and close smoothly, the top drawer with built-in dividers and the bottom drawer slightly taller for more storage. A shelf slides out conveniently for writing or to hold your things. The dresser has been painted in a custom dark green premium chalk-style paint and finished with a matte clear coat. Accented by a beautiful natural cherry drawer and cherry shelf that are finished with hemp oil for depth of color, and a matte clear coat. Original brass hardware has been painted with custom-mixed gold-tone wax paint with a touch of copper color for just the right shade. This piece would be perfect as a secretary-type piece near an entryway or in a living room or study, or could be used as a dresser in a bedroom. There is ample storage in the drawers, and the convenience of the pull-out shelf for writing. This piece can also be used as a buffet, as long as care is taken to protect the surface from liquids and heat.
