A chest of Drawers from the Victorian Renaissance circa 1880. Hand carved walnut with the drawer fronts adorned burl wood panels. This piece had remained in the same family for over 100 years and started it beginnings in a West Virginia Farmhouse. This beautiful piece of America history was lovingly restored to bring this amazing piece back to its former glory! The two small drawers and 3 large drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Working locks but there is not a working key. The marble insert is original and is in great condition with only a couple small stains. The mirror is original to the piece as well and the frame has intricate carvings and candle ledges. The mirror will come detached. The mirror surface is in good shape and has slight patina, most prominent on th we bottom edge. Gorgeous Antique Brass and Ebony Wood Eastlake Victorian Tear Drop Pendant Pulls and knobs with ebonized wood and Solid brass assembly. Antique brass finish slightly polished to bring back some of the original glow. Beautiful, hand carved drawer joints.
