Primitive Early American heart pine hutch. This piece is simple however boasts ample amount of character. Gorgeous original patina and aging on the hutch counter that will instantly draw you in to touch the worn wood. Painted in layers of blue, green and white authentic chippy milkpaint, giving this old piece a sentimental, storied quality. Original drawer pulls. I wanted to keep this piece true to its age, all finishes are handmade and natural…from the stain, grain alcohol made shellac, natural pigments and milk paint, sealed with natural beeswax. This hutch will add instant farmhouse and cottage charm. They styling options are endless. Dimensions: Large lower shelf: height 19 7/8 width 58” depth 19 Shelf spacing 1st shelf 12” 2nd shelf 10” *Many primitive pieces have lead. This piece has been completely stripped of its finish and has passed an EPA certified lead test.

Palm Beach based furniture and interior finish artist, Lyonella Cook, has been honing her skills in painting for the past several years. She specializes in restoring, reinventing and breathing new life into European Furniture. Her favored medium, authentic French & Italian Milkpaints. Originally, a construction engineer with a BS in Construction, Lyonella has blended her education into her art form, bringing about the perfect marriage of creating! Her deep affection for antiques and vintage furnishings is evident in her work. Antiques bestow unpretentious charm, a sense of history, a connection to the past that no assembly line piece could make you feel...it is the grounding element that will make your house a home. Lyonella is of Spanish and Italian decent, born in the UK to U.S. airmen parents. She served in the U.S. Army and participated in a study abroad in college which afforded her opportunity to travel all over the U.S. and parts of world. These experiences changed how she viewed colors, pattens, textures and furnishings to create a unique style and perhaps a retreat... your own little part of Europe. She currently resides in Palm Beach, Florida with her husband, four children and fur babies Tank (frenchie) and Jingles (Bichon/Havanese).
