This adorable nightstand is named after Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, the French royal mistress of King Louis XV of France in 1745 AD. She was acknowledged as Marquise de Pompadour, which left the courtiers in shock because back then mistresses were considered "flings" with no authority...until her! Painted in a Royal blue chalk paint, sanded smooth with a satin sheen sealant. 3d floral design on the drawers. Sterling silver handle pulls, floral interior lining and stained top in weathered oak satin sheen.
