My name is Sara Alcaire, I am of Latin origin. I grew up among guitars, smells of wood, stains, and varnishes. I loved to see those guitars finished shiny with a mother-of-pearl edge, ready for a musician to play a beautiful piece of music. Over the years we immigrated to the USA with my husband and our two children, later our little girl would arrive, where we had many illusions and even more obstacles to hurdle. Here I am after more than two decades doing what I like, what I love with all my being, painting in all its expressions, (oil painting, acrylic, etc) and furniture restoration. Even now I am still seduced by the aromas of wood and its finishes, which made me travel to that childhood, that workshop, those guitars... Antique style furniture transports us centuries back, to that history that we somehow want to discover and treasure... Every time my hands arrive, my heart beats strong visualizing the result in my mind, becoming a unique piece like a jewel of great value, giving it a second chance to exist for a long time, now in optimal conditions to offer that story with more shine and honor.
