I am obsessed with deconstructing things, figuring out how something was made. It started out with cooking, then knitting reared its beautiful head although knitting and cooking were neck-and-neck for a couple of decades! Repurposing furniture popped up as another avenue for my creative outlet and an eye for deconstruction, and a possible means to supplement my income. I love to seek and procure once-loved and often discarded furniture that are in fundamentally good shape but may need a rerun! I experience immense joy from stripping down a once-loved piece with good bones, re-imagining it, and giving it a facelift. However, the joy is even greater when someone else takes a shine to one of my pieces and chooses to love it in their home. While this is currently a part-time passion, I hope to make it a full-time gig some day soon!
