I have enjoyed creative DIY projects since a teenager and spent several years doing graphic design and photography as a business. All along my first love has been repurposing, upcycling furniture and decorating and renovating my home. I was finally able to turn it into a business, The Coastal Cottage, and absolutely love transforming a discarded piece to something beautiful for someone to enjoy. Growing up in Finland on the water I love the coastal scandinavian cottage look but love experimenting with all different styles of furniture. I live in South Florida and sell my furniture online as well as at a furniture co- op in Jensen Beach.
