My name is Sara and I am the artisan behind Pop Salvage Designs - a DC-based furniture refinishing venture. After years of nursing I found painting furniture therapeutic and started finishing pieces for my own home. Gradually I started selling my work and built up a substantial client base, which allowed me to retire from nursing and devote myself full time, doing what I love most. I take pride in the the quality of my work and never take short cuts. My design style can be described as a sophisticated mix of old and new. Seeing my furniture in people's homes brings me so much joy and I can't wait to help you furnish yours.
