My love of painting started early in life because of the luxury of having a Mother who is care free and creative. I grew up in a large family where our Mother always encourged us to engage in artistic activities. My style has evolved over the years as I continue to stretch myself to learn new techniques. I started by tapping into my passion by attending Lander College in Greenwood, SC. The most recent courses have been with Amy Howard, I've completed her Old World Finishing, attended her Inner Circle and most recently completed European Finishes. They definitely have influenced my current style for painting furniture. My company name Open Window Restore is because my belief is when one door closes look for the window opened by God to restore us. I'm very excited to have the platform from Encore Society to share my restored line with you.
